Barry Manilow at Paris Launch
Objective:
To use Barry Manilow’s scheduled PR appearances surrounding the January 2010 release of “The Greatest Love Songs of All Time” to promote his new resident production, Manilow at Paris Las Vegas.
Approach:
MME worked closely with Sony to secure national and international promotions around Barry Manilow’s scheduled PR appearances in January/February.
Results:
On The Rachael Ray Show, MME secured promotional giveaways on air and online surrounding Manilow at Paris Las Vegas. Paris Las Vegas and Manilow merchandise was given away to the studio audience which secured an additional segment following his performance. Rachael directed viewers online to enter to win a romantic getaway to see Manilow at Paris Las Vegas. The contest was promoted online for 2 weeks and an e-blast was sent to the 1+ million database. Rachael also Twittered and Facebooked about the contest.
Additional national promotions were secured on Entertainment Tonight and Delilah. Internationally, a promotion was secured on GMTV, the UK’s top morning show.
